Terms of Service.
Last updated: March 28, 2026
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service") carefully before using the zenhost.app website (the "Service") operated by Alcra ("us", "we", or "our").
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, clients, and web hosts who access or adopt the Service software platform infrastructure.
1. License Definition
By subscribing to a ZenHost tier (Pro, Enterprise, etc.), you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the ZenHost core binary and management interface strictly on infrastructure that you directly control or own.
You are explicitly prohibited from decompiling, modifying, or distributing the proprietary ZenHost core compilation without our prior written consent.
2. Liability and Data Loss
ZenHost is a critical infrastructure management tool. By executing the installation script on your server, you acknowledge that ZenHost alters core services (Nginx, systemd, PostgreSQL) and user hierarchies.
- In no event shall Alcra, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages.
- This explicitly includes without limitation: loss of tenant data, hardware failure, revenue loss from downtime, or unauthorized access to your clients' systems via misconfigured SSH or API keys.
- It is your sole responsibility as the provider to configure and verify external bucket backups (e.g., AWS S3).
3. Accounts and Billing
When you create an account with us, you must provide us information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your license and API keys.
Unless canceled manually, all subscriptions auto-renew on their scheduled anniversary date.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
The software license may be immediately revoked if the installed server is utilized to host material associated with illegal actions, unsolicited bulk email (SPAM), malware distribution, or if the server infrastructure maliciously attacks ZenHost license verification endpoints.
5. Revisions
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
