Everything you need.
Nothing you don't.

A complete toolkit for modern web hosting, designed with restraint and built for performance.

Application hosting

Deploy static sites, PHP, Node.js, and Python apps with managed profiles. Connect your GitHub repository for automatic deployments on push.

Backups & Restore

Scheduled or manual backups. Store locally or automatically offsite via S3-compatible storage.

Modern File Manager

Browser-based file browsing and editing that actually feels like a native file manager.

Staging Environments

Clone production to a staging environment, compare database changes, then sync back.

Email Services

Self-hosted email with IMAP/SMTP and clean, modern webmail access.

Managed Databases

MySQL and PostgreSQL with straightforward quota management and visual UI access.

Visual Cron

Schedule jobs without writing cron syntax. View exact execution history directly in the dashboard.

The Provider Admin Plane

The command center where you manage your entire hosting business. Limit resources, oversee infrastructure health, and support your clients without asking for their passwords.

Explicit Impersonation

Access any client's dashboard for troubleshooting with a single click. Impersonation is explicitly logged and visible to the client via a persistent UI banner. No silent snooping.

Immutable Audit Trails

Every state-changing operation is logged with actor, resource, action type, and timestamp. Never wonder who deleted a database or modified an environment variable again.

Hosting Packages

Define named packages with resource limits (database counts, storage quotas), feature gates, and runtime availability. Assign clients to packages instantly.

Technical Architecture.

ZenHost runs on a single dedicated server or VPS with no external dependencies. We chose stability over distributed complexity.

  • OS-Level Tenant Isolation The isolation model is Linux users, not Docker containers. Each hosting account maps to an isolated Linux user. Application processes run safely inside systemd user services.
  • Audited Operations Privileged operations (user creation, service configuration, file ownership changes) run through an audited sudo wrapper. Clients never touch system configurations.

What ZenHost Does Not Do

Trying to be everything makes a product worse at the things that actually matter. We are explicitly clear about our architectural boundaries so you know precisely what you are buying.

Arbitrary build commands
Deployments use strictly managed profiles. This is a security decision to prevent rogue execution, not a limitation.
Docker workloads
The isolation model uses standard Linux users and systemd. We don't bolt on container orchestration layers.
Multi-server clustering
v1 runs on a single server. Our architecture is designed for multi-node support, but we refuse to ship distributed consensus until it's flawless.
Path-based routing
Routing is strictly hostname-based. Each hostname binding points to entirely one isolated application instance.

Trusted by modern hosts.

"We migrated 400 client sites off cPanel to ZenHost. Support tickets regarding FTP and database configuration dropped by 85% in the first month."

Sarah Jenkins
Founder, Northway Hosting

"Our agency deployed ZenHost on our dedicated servers. We now charge a premium for hosting purely because the dashboard looks like a $100M startup built it."

Marcus Thorne
Technical Director, Studio Elevate

"I was paying thousands in per-account licensing fees. ZenHost's flat pricing model restored our profit margins instantly, without sacrificing the developer experience."
