Can I install ZenHost on an existing server?
No. ZenHost requires a fresh installation of Ubuntu 20.04+ or Debian 11+ to ensure stable configuration of underlying services (Nginx, Docker, PostgreSQL). Attempting to install over an existing cPanel or Plesk environment will fail.
How do migrations from cPanel work?
ZenHost includes a native cPanel migration tool. You simply upload your cPanel
tar.gz backup archive into the account creation flow, and ZenHost will automatically extract databases, files, and DNS records into the new format.
Is white-labeling an extra feature?
No. Complete white-labeling is included out of the box on all Pro and Enterprise tiers. You can configure custom domains for the dashboard, distinct SMTP sending identities, and inject custom CSS/Logos without any "Powered by" branding.
What constitutes an 'Active Account'?
An active account is any client profile provisioned on the server. Unlike legacy panels, ZenHost explicitly does not charge per-account or per-domain on our Pro plan. Unlimited accounts means you can freely scale your agency without your infrastructure tax increasing.
